Daily Itinerary
Day 1: Entebbe
Arrive in Entebbe, a relaxed lakeside town on the shores of Lake Victoria. Depending on your arrival, visit the Botanical Gardens, take a sunset cruise, or explore the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre. Overnight in a boutique guesthouse.
Days 2–4: Murchison Falls National Park
Fly or drive to Murchison Falls, Uganda’s largest park. Stay at a lodge overlooking the Nile River. Activities include boat cruises to the base of the falls, a hike to the top of the falls, and game drives where you might spot elephants, lions, giraffes, and buffalo.
Days 5–7: Kibale Forest National Park
Journey south to Kibale, home to 13 primate species. The highlight is chimpanzee trekking with expert trackers. Enjoy rainforest walks, birdwatching, and visits to crater lakes. Stay in a forest lodge immersed in nature.
Days 8–11: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Explore Uganda’s most diverse park, with savannah, wetlands, and crater lakes. Game drives reveal elephants, lions, and Uganda kob. A boat safari on the Kazinga Channel offers sightings of hippos and crocodiles. Visit the Ishasha sector for a chance to see tree-climbing lions.
Days 12–15: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Conclude your journey in Bwindi, home to half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. Over four days, take part in two gorilla treks to increase your chance of seeing different families. Trek through ancient rainforest and return to a forest lodge for peaceful evenings.
