Private Safari Guide
With nine years of experience guiding across South Africa, Zimbabwe, Congo Brazzaville and the Central African Republic, Kerri brings a lifetime of wilderness living to each journey. Trained through EcoTraining and holding a Zimbabwe Learner Guide qualification with specialist skills in tracking and sign, she blends technical expertise with a deep-rooted understanding of the bush.
Kerri joined WildEarth in January 2024, drawn to the community of curious minds who care as much about the smallest fungi as they do the largest predator. Her guiding style is personal and intuitive, shaped by years spent immersed in remote wild places, where guiding is not a profession but a way of being. Every outing is a chance to share that connection, to help guests discover both the spectacle and the subtlety of the natural world.
Among her most memorable moments with WildEarth is a windswept afternoon beneath a marula tree, cameras rolling, as a leopard took shelter and wild dogs raced across the horizon, trailed by a determined hyena, a scene stitched together by nature’s unpredictability.
Guests often remember Kerri for her boundless passion and her gift for storytelling. Whether tracking big game or highlighting the quiet marvel of a zebra’s family bond, she brings insight and energy to each encounter. Beyond the bush, she’s also a gardener and artist with a soft spot for quirky creatures and a surprisingly decent command of technology.
