Journey through Kenya’s most iconic landscapes with private guide James Hendry or David Githu. From the shores of Lake Naivasha to elephant-rich Amboseli and the legendary Masai Mara, this unforgettable safari combines luxury, wildlife, and extraordinary East African adventure.
Join James or David on an intimate 10-day safari through two of Kenya's finest wildlife destinations. From the rolling oat grass plains of the Masai Mara to the rugged majesty of Laikipia, this is a safari designed for people who want to understand Africa, create lasting memories and enjoy a laugh along the way.
The adventure begins in Nairobi - the hub of East Africa - with time to unwind after your international flight and perhaps visit one of the city's historic sites. Then it's a short, picturesque flight into Laikipia: the land of the rarities (Grevy's zebra, beisa oryx and reticulated giraffe), and so much more. This is an innovative conservation landscape where people, wildlife and livestock coexist in a unique and fascinating harmony. You'll stay at the eco-luxury Governors' Mugie House.
From Laikipia, it's on to the fabled Masai Mara and, with luck, the thundering herds of nature's greatest spectacle - the Great Migration. Wilderness Mara is an intimate camp nestled in the riverine forests of the Mara River. It is the perfect launch pad from which to experience the migration, with unique access to both sides of the river.
With James, David or Imara as your host and private guide throughout, sharing the stories, ecology and animal behaviour that have captivated millions of WildEarth viewers around the world. This is a chance to experience Kenya through the eyes of someone who has spent a lifetime interpreting its wilderness, and our human connection to it.

Masai Mara · Kenya

This classic property offers an intimate, lower-impact experience, with just 12 tented suites set along the edge of a thriving marsh ecosystem. We’ve kept the camp true to its East African roots; elegant, grounded, and deeply connected to place, while adding just the right touches of comfort: a spa to unwind, a gym for the energetic, and a pool with a lounge.
Experience the best of Kenya’s legendary Masai Mara National Reserve in the Mara Triangle, which affords an exclusive safari experience, thanks to its lower visitor density, well-maintained roads, effective anti-poaching patrols, and strict conservation management by the Mara Conservancy. Here you can experience exceptional game viewing – including the annual Great Migration that sees millions of wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of zebras and countless gazelles brave waiting crocodiles as they surge across the roiling waters of the Mara River.
Laikipia Plateau · Kenya

Located within Loisaba Conservancy, Elewana Loisaba Lodo Springs offers a private experience across eight individual, spacious tented rooms, each with views that reach across the landscape of northern Kenya towards Mount Kenya.
Every room is assigned an Elewana Guest Ambassador, dedicated to attending to guests throughout their stay. Loisaba sits on an elephant corridor connecting the Laikipia Plateau and supports one of Kenya's larger and more stable lion populations. Loisaba is a 57,000 acre conservancy within Laikipia County, owned by the Loisaba Community Trust, a Kenyan Trust incorporated under the Perpetual Succession of Trustees Act. The Trust is committed to wildlife and ecological conservation, with a mission to protect and enhance wildlife diversity, abundance and habitat across the Loisaba landscape.
