With 19 years of guiding experience and a natural gift for tracking, Cedric brings a steady presence and sharp eye to the bush. Trained through EcoTraining and in-lodge mentoring, he specialises in big cats and the art of reading the land until its stories come to life.
Since joining WildEarth in 2022, Cedric has shared his passion with a global audience, inspiring younger generations to care for the wild. Guests are drawn to his calm nature and the joy he shows when reconnecting with familiar leopards, his excitement both genuine and contagious.
For Cedric, guiding is about more than sightings. He invites guests to slow down, be present, and feel the rhythm of the wilderness.

Daily Itinerary
Day 1: Monday, 27 July 2026
You will be met at OR Tambo International Airport and transferred by private road to Kingfisher Villa Suites within the Waterberg Biosphere.
After time to settle into your suite, you will head out on your first afternoon game drive with Cedric Dold and the resident field guide. The evening returns you to camp for dinner and a relaxed fireside gathering.
Day 2: Tuesday, 28 July 2026
Today follows the gentle beat of safari life with a morning and afternoon game drive across the reserve.
Early light offers the best chance to encounter active wildlife, while the later drive continues into the golden hours as the bush begins to cool. Between activities, enjoy time at the lodge overlooking the surrounding wilderness.
Day 3: Wednesday, 29 July 2026
Your daily morning and afternoon safaris continue. You may also get the opportunity to meet the Wildearth Crew.
Day 4: Thursday, 30 July 2026
Morning and afternoon game drives continue, each shaped by the movement of wildlife and the changing light across the landscape.
Your host shares stories from the field, offering a deeper understanding of animal behaviour, tracking, and the delicate balance within the ecosystem.
Day 5: Friday, 31 July 2026
Your final full safari day allows time to revisit favourite areas of the reserve and to observe the smaller details often missed.
The experience remains unhurried, with space for photography, quiet observation, and rest between drives. A farewell dinner brings the group together in the evening.
Day 6: Saturday, 1 August 2026
After breakfast, you will check out and transfer by road back to OR Tambo International Airport for your onward journey.
