With 19 years of guiding experience and a natural gift for tracking, Cedric brings a steady presence and a keen eye to the bush. Trained through EcoTraining and in-lodge mentoring programmes, he specialises in big cats and the art of tracking, often reading the landscape in quiet concentration until a story reveals itself in the dust.
Cedric joined WildEarth in 2022, drawn by the opportunity to share his passion with a wider audience and inspire younger generations to care about the wild. One of his most treasured moments was finding Chela the lioness’s cubs, a scene that reminded him why he fell in love with guiding in the first place.
What sets Cedric apart is the energy he brings. Guests often comment on the joy he shows when encountering well-known leopards, the spark of recognition and connection clear in every smile. His excitement is genuine and contagious, and his calm, grounded nature makes guests feel instantly at ease.

Daily Itinerary
Day 1: Friday, 26 September 2025
Jaci’s Sabi House • Sabi Sand Nature Reserve
After arriving in Johannesburg, OR Tambo International Airport we will escort you to the Federal Air Private Lounge. This is the domestic airport where you will take off to fly into the Sabi Sand Nature Reserve.
On arrival at the airstrip you will be picked up by Amy and driven to Jaci’s Sabi House. (30 minutes).
After checking in and having a tour of the lodge you will have a chance to have something to eat and then head out on your first safari with Cedric
Day 2: Saturday, 27 September 2025 – Day 4: Monday, 29 September 2025

This morning after a cup of coffee/tea and a small snack you will head out on your morning safari with Cedric in search of leopards. and other wildlife.
Once back from safari you will have breakfast and the middle of the day will be yours to relax, use the pool and spa. At around 4pm you will go out on your afternoon safari in search of your favourite leopards.
Dinner will be at around 8pm after you are back and have freshened up. After dinner you will have a chance to sit by the fire with Cedric and regale your safari stories.

Today is departure day.
You will have a chance to head out on safari for one last time before breakfast and departure to the airstrip.
You will fly directly to the Federal Air Hangar in Joahannesburg and then we will escort you back over to Johanneburg International if you have an international flight.
